The heart behind the community.
She Trusted God is a community of Christian women learning, together, to trust God, not only on the easy days, but with the very things we are tempted to carry alone. Whether you find yourself in a hopeful season or a hard one, there is room for you here.
Why "she
Trusted God?
She Trusted God began with a woman who had almost nothing.
In 2 Kings 4, a widow is drowning in debt, and creditors are coming to take her two sons. All she has left is a small jar of oil. But she brings that little bit to God, does exactly what the prophet tells her, and God multiplies the oil until there is enough to pay every debt and live on the rest. She trusted God with the hard thing, the uncertain thing, and all of it, and He proved faithful.
That is the heart of everything here. This pink lotus flower carries the same promise, from Luke 1:45: "Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord." Mary believed God would do what He said. The widow believed. Countless generations of women since have believed. She trusted God, and so can we.
It's all
About Him
This community has one aim, and it is not us. It is God Himself.
We are not here to have it all figured out. We are here to know God, to trust Him, and to keep pointing one another back to Him when life gets hard and trust feels far off.
We are here to be His.
God is the One who holds us, and He has shown Himself faithful over and over again.
So everything here, the study, the prayer, the friendship, exists for one reason: to help us trust the Trustworthy One a little more today than we did yesterday and to inspire others to do the same!
Our Vision
She Trusted God is a community exploring, through Scripture, practical ways to trust and rely on God even in the midst of uncertainty. By connecting Christian women, we support each other's spiritual growth to foster trust in God's purpose for our lives.
As we trust God and share our faith, our lives become testimonies, drawing unbelievers to salvation and encouraging fellow believers to trust Him more boldly.
Why trust God? Because He is trustworthy (Psalm 145:13). Yes, God is worthy of all of our trust. Hasn't He shown Himself faithful, time and time again? God is the only safe place to rest all of our confidence and trust! Hallelujah! Amen!
Community members receive free resources to build their faith: a live Bible study, study materials, and ongoing notes of encouragement, all to help us explore God's Word, pray, and grow in fellowship as we learn to deeply trust God, the Trustworthy One, with our lives.
The end game

To trust God and encourage others to do the same.

To trust Him so visibly that others ask about the Hope within us, and to boldly share the Gospel.

To live out this lifelong testimony: She Trusted God!

A Word from the Facilitator
Hi, I'm Sonya, and I'm so glad you're here.
I've spent more than a decade in women's Bible study ministry, and along the way God taught me what trust looks like when life gets hard. As a cancer survivor, I learned firsthand that the LORD knows how to raise His people by His strength when they have none of their own. As I walked through it, God used this verse to comfort me:
"Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)
True to His Word, the LORD my God was with me every step of the way. Hallelujah! Amen!
That is why She Trusted God is not about any of us. It is about God Himself, His faithfulness and all that He is. We simply aim to point one another to the Trustworthy One, even as we press in daily to do the same.
