Getting Started

Q: Is there a cost to join?

A: No. The Bible study and the community are completely free, and every study guide and live session is provided at no charge. The one resource we offer for purchase is our devotional journal, She Trusted God: A Devotional Journal for Trusting God With All of It, a companion you can use on your own. It is completely optional, and you never need it to take full part in the study.

Q: How do I sign up?

A: Just fill out the short form below. After you confirm, you'll receive a welcome email with everything you need to get started, including your first study materials and Zoom link.

About the

Bible Study

Q: When do you meet?

A: We meet live online on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm Eastern. We'd love to have you with us.

Q: What will we be studying?

A: We're exploring the lives of faithful women and men in the Bible who trusted God in impossible circumstances, beginning with the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7. Each session, we dive deep into their stories and discover practical ways to trust God for ourselves.

Q: What translation of the Bible are the studies based on?

A: The Bible studies are based primarily on the New King James Version (NKJV). We'll all be looking at the same passages, so any Biblically sound translation works!

Q: Do I need to do homework?

A: There is no required homework, but we do provide Study Guide preparation materials including:

  • Scripture passages to read ahead.

  • Reflection questions to help you apply the Scriptures to your life.

Use these if they're helpful, but there's absolutely no pressure. Just come, whether you have completed the reflection questions or not.

Q: Is this only for women?

A: While the message of Scripture is universal, this Bible Study is for women. Any woman who wants to learn from powerful examples in the Bible of faith and trusting God is absolutely invited.

Q: What if I'm new to Bible study?

A: Perfect! This study is designed for complete beginners and seasoned Bible readers alike. We discuss the Scriptures in a clear, easy-to-understand way and provide context for the passages. You don't need to be a Bible scholar. Just bring an open heart!

The Devotional

Journal

Q: What is the devotional journal?
A: She Trusted God: A Devotional Journal for Trusting God With All of It, is a companion for the days between our gatherings. Built around the story of the widow and her oil in 2 Kings 4, each short devotional is paired with space for journaling. The "Think on These Things" prompts invite you to reflect honestly, pray in your own words, and draw closer to God right in the middle of your everyday life.
Q: What formats does it come in?
A: Two, both on Amazon: a paperback you can hold and write in by hand, and an eBook you can read on a Kindle or the free Kindle app. If you choose the eBook, keep a notebook nearby for the journaling pages.
Q: Do I need the journal to take part in the study?
A: Not at all. The study and the community are free and complete on their own. The journal is simply there if you'd like a quiet space to keep growing between sessions.
Q: Where can I get it?
A: Both the paperback and the eBook are available on Amazon. You'll find the link, along with all the details, on our Devotional Journal page.
Q: How is it delivered?
A: The paperback is printed and shipped by Amazon, and you can track your order from your Amazon account. The eBook arrives instantly on your Kindle or in the free Kindle app.

THE COMMUNITY

GROUP

Q: Is there a place to connect between sessions?
A: Yes, and it's on its way! We're preparing a private online community group, where women can share prayer requests, encourage one another, and keep the conversation going between sessions. When it opens, we'll send you an invitation by email. Until then, you can share a prayer request on the sign-up form, and we'll be praying for you.

Faith &

Beliefs

Q: What denomination is this study?

A: This is a non-denominational, Christian Bible study. We believe the whole Bible is an instruction manual for living. So we focus on Scripture and applying God's Word to our lives.

Q: What if I'm struggling with my faith right now?

A: You're in the right place. Many of us come to Bible study during seasons of doubt, struggle, or questioning. This is a safe, grace-filled space where you can be honest about where you are. We're here to support you, pray with you, and study God's Word together.

Q: I haven't been to church in years. Can I still join?

A: Yes! Whether you're a regular churchgoer or haven't been in years, you're welcome here. Come as you are.
